Eventually, the thought occurred to me that perhaps a songbook of my pieces would be welcomed. Knowing some of the good people at Aras Publishing in Istanbul, I asked if they would be interested in the project. Their positive response was very gratifying. I proposed a short book of perhaps twenty of my most popular pieces. To my surprise, they preferred a book of all of my compositions, with a biography and photos included.
